Sketch of the Day 01

So to anybody that follows my comic book and has seen my variant covers, it will will come as no surprise that I am a massive Skottie Young fan. Got his daily grind sketchbook in the mail today, and have been inspired to do one loose sketch a day regardless of what other work I have on.
Thought I'd get things rolling with a Zombies vs Robots inspired piece. Consider this day 1...

Judge Dredd

Flashback time: I remember going to see Dredd at the movies on my own, and literally I was the only person in the theatre! I remember thinking, man I hope this film doesn't bomb. As a long time Judge Dredd fan this was the film I'd been waiting for, but alas cinema crowds weren't going to see it. Then i remember seeing the petition for a sequel and wanted to do my part. These were some images that went towards making promo pieces to support the online campaign for a sequel. Man, these were fun to draw! #judge #dredd
